The first thing we learn about ‘Willy Wonka’ is that he is the “greatest inventor and maker of chocolates that there has ever been”. This man is defined by chocolates, how could we not love him? The cinematic masterpiece is pure madness, enthusiasm, and inventions, construed together in the most spectacular way!

#1 WONKA’S LIMP

It was Gene Wilder that insisted that Wonka has a limp.  His reasoning?  ‘That time on, no one will know if I’m lying or telling the truth’. Um, okay then.

2. THE FILM WAS SHOT IN MUNICH, GERMANY

If you look closely on the scenes that are shot on the streets you can see that some of the signs are in German.

3. THE MOVIE HAD A 2.1 MILLION POUND BUDGET.
