Unseen letters from Princess Diana have recently been revealed.
The letter revealing Prince Harry’s rebellious childhood have recently emerged, and are soon making their way to the auction.
While the letters were written by Princess Diana, the letters belonged to Cyril Dickman, was a steward at Buckingham Palace. He was one of the longest serving stewards at the palace, serving there for more than five decades.
These unseen letters reveal unknown family secrets, as well as personal details about the young Princes childhoods.
According to the letters, as well as Cyril himself, Prince William was utterly in love with his baby brother and showered him with affection after his birth in September 1984.
A touching letter written by the late Princess Diana reads: ‘William adores his little brother and spends the entire time swamping Harry with an endless supply of hugs and kisses, hardly letting the parents near!’
Diana also reveals that she and Prince Charles were ‘overwhelmed’ by the reaction to Harry’s birth and could ‘hardly breathe from the mass of flowers’.
