It’s around this time of year that everyone starts to get a really bad cough.

If you’re not currently suffering from a cough, you may want to prepare yourself, as you’ll more than likely be suffering from one soon.

Of course going to the doctors over a simple seasonal cough isn’t advised. But what if it could be a sign of something serious?

The majority of coughs people are suffering from right now is a simple winter virus. Nothing will get rid of it, you’ll just have to wait a few weeks.

These seasonal coughs are a nuisance, and go on for longer than you’d expect or want them to. Thankfully, they’re not going to cause any serious harm.

You can tell if it’s just a seasonal cough if it started with a sore throat, snuffles, and maybe a slight temperature.That’s when the cough kicks in. In it’s first day, the cough is dry, then it goes loose and phlegmy.There’s not much you can do other than take plenty of fluids. Maybe take some paracetamol if you’re throat is achey, but mainly it’s just waiting for nature to take it’s course.
