Most adults never feel like they’ve gotten a significant amount of sleep, because the feeling is just too good to only get 8 hours a night. But there are those that don’t even get that much sleep, because they’re tossing and turning trying to ensure they’re sleeping in the most comfortable position, or replaying their day over and over in their head.
For those who wake up with sore shoulders, never sleep on your side at night. Instead, lay on your back while holding a pillow on your stomach, which will place your shoulders in the correct position.
For those that suffer from back pain, you’d be surprised to learn that laying on your back is still the best position for you. Place a pillow under your back, to help restore the natural spinal curve and reduce tension. If you like to sleep on your stomach, place a pillow under your abdomen instead to make sure your back doesn’t move.
