#1 This Video Shows His Last Moments
Robert Seman was 63 when he took his own life in an Ohio courtroom. He was walking away from his pre-trial when he suddenly climbed over a railing, throwing himself to his death four floors down. He was on trial for the murder of 10-year-old Corrine Gump, 63-year-old William Schmidt and 61-year-old Judith Schmidt.
#2 He Faced The Death Penalty
Presumably the man knew that he would be found guilty of the heinous crimes he had committed. Since he would most likely receive the death penalty, Seman chose to take his own life instead of letting someone else do it for him.
