When Marianne Theresa Johnson-Reddick died, her obituary written by her son and daughter and they were openly glad that she died. Patrick and Katherine Reddick shared their abusive childhood memories in their mother’s obituary to raise awareness. They said that everyone she met was treated to hatred, vulgarity, and criminal activity. They wrote that Marianne beat them regularly and had a prostitution ring in her home.
The two children were forced to watch regular atrocities. Eventually, all four of Marianne’s children ended up in foster care. When Patrick went to visit her on her deathbed, she became so violent that doctors ended up sedating her. When she died, he said out loud “Ding dong, the witch is dead.” Words no mother ever wants to hear said about her.
