Most of us know that being a mom is one of the hardest jobs in the world.
Being a mom is a full time job that some moms have to juggle with another full time.
The only difference is that the full time job you put more hours into (being a mom) doesn’t pay as well… Unless you count adorable smiles and hugs as payment, then it’s the best paying job in the world.
When you’re a mom, you work around the clock, trying to make sure that your kid is happy, healthy, and most importantly, alive.
It’s a tough job but someone has to do it, right?
Moms don’t get enough credit for all the things they do to look after their family, it’s sad but true.
Moms look after us every day of the year, surely they deserve more than one day to celebrate them? I certainly think so!
It’s one of the hardest, jobs a woman will ever have and it is one of the most under recognised and under paying jobs in the world.
No wonder some people enter the role of mother with some reluctance!
It’s pretty crazy!
Becoming a mom is one long process of pushing, being very patient, and screaming.
It’s not a pleasant experience, but lets be honest. The little bundle of joy that arrives at the end is worth every second.
There is often a strong bond between a child and it’s mom, something with is naturally occurring.
Though for some people that bond may not be instantly forming, it’s still arrives when you least expect it.
There is a lot of uncertainty when a woman goes into labor and delivers a baby, but it’s also one of the most magical moments in a mother’s life.
All of the hard work of labor becomes worth it in a matter of moments when your newborn enters the world and is placed in your caring and loving arms.
At the moment in the United States, one-third of women deliver their babies via C-section. Because of the anaesthesia, these C-section mothers are unable to move their arms to hold their newborns.
Instead, the baby is placed on the mom’s chest or next to her head for them to meet for the very first time.
There are some people who say that the bonding moment after C-sections isn’t as special, there is one woman who can say it was one of the best experiences of her life!
A video recently went viral after it showed a woman’s new born clinging onto her mom, proving that nothing could be farther from the truth.
Brenda Coêhlo de Souza went into labor earlier this year, where she gave birth to her daughter, Ágata Ribeiro Coêlho.
The newborn was delivered through C-section.
After the C-section, Ágata was brought to Brenda so that they could have their special skin-to-skin bonding time.
But, everyone in the operating room was immediately blown away by the incredibly touching experience where Ágata met her mother for the first time.
As soon as Ágata was placed on her mother, the sweet newborn put her arm around Brenda’s face.
It actually looks like little Ágata is sweetly caressing her mom’s cheek. Talk about a sweet moment!
The pair stay like this for awhile until Ágata begins to cry out. Brenda immediately swooped into action and began sweetly talking to her new baby girl. ]
Her loving words bring a calm Ágata. Seriously, if your heart wasn’t melting at the start of the video, it will at this point!
Watching Ágata be comforted by her mother is a true testament to the importance of bonding, and that those moments still occur, even after a C-sections.
Obviously, both Brenda and her baby girl have never seen each other face-to-face, but they built a strong bond while Brenda was pregnant that connected them so deeply and immediately!
It’s moments like these that have the capability to melt your heart in a matter of seconds.
What do you think about this incredibly special moment?
Did you have a C-section?
