17 Pieces Of Wisdom From Grandmas Who Are Winning At Life

When I was a child my Grandma sat me down on her lap and told me something very important.

She said ‘growing old is mandatory, but growing up is optional’.

It’s the best piece of advice I’ve ever had, and honestly, she’s right.

We all have to get older, but that doesn’t mean we have to let our age define us and how we behave. After all, while I may be old, I’ve never been this age before. So how on Earth am I suppose to know how to act?

Just because we are getting older, it doesn’t mean we can’t still have fun!

They say you are only as old as you feel, so if you still feel like that crazy 21-year-old girl you once were, why should you let a few wrinkles and a bad hip stop you from re-living your youth?

Age is just a state of mind after all!

Getting of older is a sign that you’ve lived life, so of course, you know a few things about it.

You know that you should never take a job just for the money, you understand the importance of family and friends, but you also know the importance of happiness.

Most people totally disregard what their grandparents or an elderly person says, because ‘they’re old’.

But that could be the worst decision of your life.

Take some advice from me, listen to your grandparents, because their advice with stay with you your whole life.
