We should all try to look after our selves a bit better than we currently do.
Going to the gym a bit more, and cutting down on the fast food and surgery treats are all great ways of getting healthier.
After all, how are we suppose to fight off death and live a long and happy life if we can barely manage a flight of stairs without getting out of breath!
I’m not suggesting you become a fitness fanatic, but when you reach a certain age, healthy living is more and more important.
Trust me, it’s something you won’t regret in the long run!
When it comes to our health, we can sometimes experience certain symptoms and think nothing of it.
We can often brush off these experiences like they that aren’t a big deal.
For the most part, this isn’t bad. But, it can sometimes put us at risk because we’re experiencing symptoms of something dangerous.
Our body gives us little updates about our health all the time, and those updates come in many forms.
It can come in the form of acne, sensitivity to light, soreness, and it can even come in the form of our poo.
Gross, I know, but it’s perfectly natural.
If you’re worried that your body is giving you warning signs that it’s slowing down, then you should look out for these symptoms below.
But just like always, if you’re worried about anything on this list or even your own health, always go to see a doctor to talk about it.
It’s better safe than sorry.
1. Dry skin
Dry skin often occurs when you don’t take enough care of your skin.
Your skin needs looking after constantly. It needs to be moisturized, hydrated, and all that jazz.
You can relieve the signs of dryness by adding plenty of olive oil, butternut squash, and avocado into your diet.
You won’t be able to spot this when it first occurs, but psoriasis can be linked to far more serious things.
It usually means that you’re in some serious need of vitamin C, which can be increased if you eat grapefruit, kale or even red peppers.
3. Brittle nails
If you have brittle nails then it’s your body’s way of telling you that it needs vitamin B and calcium.
If you want to have healthy nails then you need to boost these two to healthy levels.
That means you need to start eating foods like avocados, almonds, collard greens and citrus fruits in your diet.
4. Bleeding inside the mouth
Bleeding can happen if you’re not taking care of your teeth, gums, or mouth properly.
But it can also be down to a lack of Vitamin C. Kale and red peppers are a great source of Vitamin C.
Insomnia is where the sufferer is unable to sleep.
This could be a sign that you’re not obtaining certain minerals and vitamins, like magnesium. To boost those much-needed minerals and vitamins, add more lovely leafy greens to your diet.
This problem should go in no time at all.
Every fancied something so much you actually went searching around your house trying to find it?
Well, that is a craving.
Usually, people who crave salty foods are lacking chloride in their diet, something that foods like celery can provide.
Try adding lemons in your water and swap the chips and sweets for fruits and veggies!
